SIMON KENNEDY / LONDON ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Architectural photography of Office Refurbishment, London, Metropolitan Workshop Architects

The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.

The transformation of a 1980’s headquarters building into open plan and modern facilities, with flexible, informal workspaces designed to encourage interaction and new working patterns and methodologies. A controlled palate of materials, including birch ply panels and louvres, slate flooring and bold graphic yellow elements make up an energetic and atmospheric transformation.

The new facilities include a new atrium, reception area, an open plan office and meeting space with a free-standing meeting pod, and a central accommodation stair. The work was phased to fit in more effectively with the schedule of the client.
