KAP diagnostics HQ was installed as a refurbishment of a cluster of disused buildings. As the existing buildings, including a car showroom, were found to be sound structurally, it was determined that they should remain, and be refurbished rather than be demolished for new buildings. The buildings were overhauled completely, reserviced and reclad, and combined into a single storey structure with a new pitched roof adding space. The facilities provided include teaching and lecture spaces and a new reception area.
