Architectural photography of City Village.

The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.

Delivered by London- and Manchester-based Simpsonhaugh Architects, City Village is the practice’s first scheme to be realised in Coventry. The architects selected materials that reflected the surrounding city or the sky itself to soften the impact of the taller elements, and all facades feature relief patterns and textures that animate them visually. The development contains 600 student rooms as well as amenities and retail space, and landscaped courtyard gardens.
