Architectural photography of Bata Mews.

The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.

This scheme for 50 new-build houses was designed by London-based LOM Architects, for a brownfield site in East Tilbury. The site is the location a shoe factory constructed by Czech Entrepreneur Thomas Bata. The design seeks to respond sympathetically to the listed factory buildings still standing on the estate, and also to relate to the wider local conservation area.
