Architectural Photography of Balham Public Realm, London, by Metropolitan Workshop Architects

The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.

The architects won a competition and developed an entire urban strategy for economic and environmental regeneration in Balham’s town centre, made up of four projects: the enhancement via public art of the environment underneath and around the railway bridge, enhancements to Hildreth St to make it a more attractive and vibrant street, improvements to Balham Community Space, and an art solution to deal with the famous “Ugly Wall”.
