Architectural photography of 76 Cannon Street.

The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.

London-based GRID Architects updated this 1980’s office building, updating the small entrance hall with a design that opens up to the street, with clear views through to the reception. The new entrance screen and canopy are bronzed and perforated metal and are intended to appear to “reach out” to passers-by, capitalising on the excellent location of the structure at the heart of the City of London. The scheme also provided a new roof terrace with amazing views across the city, bike stores and showers. The design is elegant and minimal.
