Architectural photography of 100 Cheapside, London.

The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.

Working with a confined and difficult site, the London-based architects EPR Architects delivered a LEED Platinum and BREEAM Excellent rated workplace in the heart of the City of London. 100 Cheapside features highly flexible, efficient floor plates. The façade combines Portland stone with high-spec glazing, and steps back as the building rises. The building is highly sustainable as well as beautiful, featuring passive cooling, rainwater attenuation, a grey water recycling plant and green and brown rooves. As well as bird, bat and insect boxes, the design incorporates photovoltaic cells and thermal solar panels.
