Architectural photography of the Alexandra Centre.
This scheme to provide new accommodation and refurbishment to a Grade II Listed school was completed by London-based Haverstock Architects. The school now provides schooling and therapy for 16-25 year olds with autism or PMLD, aiming to prepare students for semi-independent living. The design involved numerous repairs to the existing concrete as well as the removal of previous, unsuccessful additions, replacing them with modern, flexible accommodation built to exacting Passivhaus standards.
Photography completed over one day. (All images copyright Simon Kennedy, London Architectural Photographer)
