This renovation was designed by Belfast-based White InK Architects and London-based Wilkinson Eyre Architects, for the Queen Mary University of London, and consists of the refurbishment and extension of the 1960s brutalist building in Mile End. The design optimises the internal facilities, and celebrates the existing concrete design, replacing the envelope and creating a new social hub and landscaped sunken courtyard.
