A privilege to shoot London’s newest transport system – the Luton Dart stations for Arup Group and the Gateway Bridge and viaduct for Knights Architects.

The DART carries passengers from Luton Parkway station to the airport, removing the need for the shuttle bus – one that I remember clearly as being quite a significant pain for all those needing to get to/from a Luton Airport flight.

Knights Architects Gateway Bridge makes a striking, asymmetric statement, its form intending to draw the eye towards the sky and the journey ahead for the passenger. An elegant and beautiful structure, the bridge uses innovative lighting to enable it to glow at night without disrupting the technical airport lighting environment.

Great to spend a number of days working on this, getting some unique views, and seeing the buildings with and without the passengers.
