The blog of Simon Kennedy, Architectural Photographer based in London.
Artist, architect and lecturer at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Ruairi Glynn, designed this interactive art installation for the entrance lobby of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, that is reflective of waste streams at both a collective and personal level – a tie in with Earth Day.
All elements of the installation are designed to have another life – the plastic cups that form the architectural array will be used in waste workshops with children, the structure will be used by the Bartlett School of Architecture for their reEarth project, and the lighting will also be used again by UCL.
